Making a Difference – Investing with Impact

Concerns about problems such as inequality, scarcity, and sustainability have encouraged investors to seek opportunities to “do well by doing good.” Impact investing, which provides capital to businesses and philanthropies focused on effecting positive change on social,  environmental and other issues, offers such an opportunity.

Our panelists for our November dinner program are deeply involved in impact investing, promoting deep change through philanthropic initiatives, investing in businesses driving social and environmental impact, and supporting start-ups driven by entrepreneurs.

Panelists:

  • Debbie Kobak, Senior Managing Director, Arabella Advisors
  • Priya Parrish, Managing Partner, Impact Engine

Moderator:

  • Marie Winters, Senior Vice President, Northern Trust & President, CFE
