Membership Nomination Process and Forms
1) Pre-Qualification:

Email the nomination form and the candidates resume or LinkedIn profile link to membership@chicagofinanceexchange.org. One of the committee chairs, Maria Tabrizi, Julie Durkin, or Susan McDermott, will follow up as needed.
Once the document is received, the candidate will be reviewed by the Membership Committee. Sponsors will be notified if the candidate is pre-qualified and ready to move on to step 2.
3) Complete the Application:
Once the candidate is pre-qualified and has attended an event, the sponsor should complete the remainder of the nomination packet and email it to one of the membership co-chairs at membership@chicagofinanceexchange.org
1. Completed nomination form (if not fully completed at pre-qualification)
2. A seconding letter of support from another CFE member in good standing. This can be added to the nomination form or submitted as a separate document.
In cases where the sponsor, candidate and seconding member are not from three different companies/organizations, TWO members must second the nomination with each member providing a letter of support.
The membership committee will review the application to confirm that all steps are completed and the candidate is approved.
4) Board Confirmation
At their regularly scheduled meetings, the Board of Directors will formally approve candidate applications presented by the Membership Committee. Once confirmed, the member sponsor is asked to share the good news with their candidate.
Member Reinstatement

CFE members interested in reinstating their membership may apply for
reinstatement by completing and submitting the following form: Reinstatement Form
